Somnara Privacy Policy
In short
- Somnara keeps your information on your device. Some data leaves your device only for the features described under “What leaves your device”, and only when you use them.
- No tracking and no ads. Somnara doesn’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites and doesn’t show ads.
- No analytics or crash-reporting services are built in.
- No account: you don’t sign in, and we don’t know who you are.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Who we are
Somnara is published by Marketgence Technologies LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Somnara on your iPhone or iPad. Questions: support@marketgence.com.
What stays on your device
Somnara keeps these on your device, in the app’s own storage that other apps can’t read:
- Your dreams: titles, text, mood, lucid flag, favourites and dates.
- Readings, with the symbols and themes taken from them.
- Settings: reading tone, AI Mode, whether you gave cloud consent, and how many free cloud readings you've used this month.
- Subscription status from the App Store, and an anonymous purchase identifier kept in the Keychain.
We don’t receive this information and can’t see it.
Like other app data, it may be included in your device backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) if you use them.

Services we use
These outside services receive data from Somnara to make it work. Each handles that data under its own privacy policy.
- Rork Toolkit
- Rork's AI proxy. It receives the Cloud AI request and forwards it to Google Gemini. What it receives: The dream text, mood word and tone instructions, plus the normal request data any server sees, such as your IP address. No name, account or device ID is attached. Only for Cloud AI readings you have agreed to. Not stated in the app. Rork may keep request logs; see Rork's policy.
- Google (Gemini)
- The AI model (Gemini 2.5 Flash) that writes the Cloud AI reading. What it receives: The dream text, mood word and tone instructions, as forwarded by Rork Toolkit. Only for Cloud AI readings you have agreed to. Set by Google's terms for Gemini; Google may keep request logs. See Google's policy. Privacy policy: policies.google.com.
Artificial intelligence
Cloud AI readings: a six-part interpretation of one dream. Private mode instead writes the reading on the iPhone from a built-in symbol guide and sends nothing. It uses Google (Gemini 2.5 Flash) through Rork Toolkit (Rork's AI proxy). It’s off until you choose to use it. When you use it, this is sent: The dream's text, the mood you tagged and your tone preference. No title, name, account, device ID or location. The service generates the answer and may keep request records under its own policy. Don’t include anything you wouldn’t want processed this way.

Permissions
Somnara doesn’t ask for access to your camera, microphone, photos, location, contacts or other protected information.
Tracking, ads and analytics
Somnara doesn’t track you: it doesn’t link information about you with information from other companies’ apps, websites or data brokers, and it doesn’t use an advertising identifier.
Somnara doesn’t show ads.
It has no analytics or crash-reporting services. If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple may share crash reports with us; Apple doesn’t include your identity.
Accounts
There are no accounts in Somnara. You don’t sign in or give us your name or email address.
Purchases
Somnara offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment and knows what you bought; we don’t receive your name, email address or payment details. The app checks what you’ve bought on your device with Apple’s StoreKit. Apple’s Privacy Policy applies to the purchase.
Children
Somnara isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
How long data is kept, and deleting it
Information on your device stays until you delete it. You can delete it in the app: Profile ▸ Data ▸ Delete all dreams removes every dream and its reading. One dream can be deleted from its detail screen. Settings such as tone and AI Mode stay until you delete the app. Deleting Somnara removes the information it keeps in its own storage on your device; copies in your backups remain until you delete those. If you've bought something, a random purchase identifier that the app keeps in the iOS Keychain can stay on the device after the app is deleted, so your purchases can be matched again; it doesn't identify you.

Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have the right to know what information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, and to object to how it’s used. Because Somnara keeps your information on your device, you can see, change and delete it in the app. To make a request or a complaint, email support@marketgence.com. You can also contact your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Somnara handles information, we’ll update this page and its effective date, and list the change below.
- : First version on apps.marketgence.com. It replaces the policy at xjjx07axgvbigv8ujelt3-web.rork.live/privacy. What the app does with your data is unchanged. The earlier text said the AI service does not train on your dreams; the app can't guarantee that, so this version points to the providers' own policies instead.
