Wickwoven Privacy Policy
In short
- Data not collected. Wickwoven doesn’t send your personal information to us or to anyone else. What you enter stays on your device.
- No tracking and no ads. Wickwoven doesn’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites and doesn’t show ads.
- No analytics or crash-reporting services are built in.
- No account: you don’t sign in, and we don’t know who you are.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Who we are
Wickwoven (“Wickwoven: Modern Grimoire” on the App Store) is published by Marketgence Technologies LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Wickwoven on your iPhone or iPad. Questions: support@marketgence.com.
What stays on your device
Wickwoven keeps these on your device, in the app’s own storage that other apps can’t read:
- Your practices, practice records and reflections.
- Your journal pages, including tarot draws and notes.
- Your supplies inventory and calendar dates, with their reminder settings.
- Photos you take with the camera or choose with the system photo picker, saved as copies inside the app.
- Unsaved drafts of practices you are writing.
- Your settings (hemisphere, low-light mode, hiding pages in the app switcher).
- A random purchase identifier and a record of your purchases, kept in this device's Keychain (iOS can keep Keychain items after an app is deleted).
We don’t receive this information and can’t see it.
Like other app data, it may be included in your device backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) if you use them.
What leaves your device
Nothing that identifies you. Wickwoven doesn’t send your personal information to us or to third parties. In App Store terms, the app’s privacy label is “Data Not Collected”.
Permissions
Wickwoven asks for these only when you use the feature that needs them. You can change your answer at any time in the Settings app.

Tracking, ads and analytics
Wickwoven doesn’t track you: it doesn’t link information about you with information from other companies’ apps, websites or data brokers, and it doesn’t use an advertising identifier.
Wickwoven doesn’t show ads.
It has no analytics or crash-reporting services. If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple may share crash reports with us; Apple doesn’t include your identity.
Accounts
There are no accounts in Wickwoven. You don’t sign in or give us your name or email address.
Purchases
Wickwoven offers one-time purchases through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment and knows what you bought; we don’t receive your name, email address or payment details. The app checks what you’ve bought on your device with Apple’s StoreKit. Apple’s Privacy Policy applies to the purchase.
Children
Wickwoven isn’t directed at children under 13, and it doesn’t collect personal information from anyone.
How long data is kept, and deleting it
Information on your device stays until you delete it. Deleting Wickwoven removes the information it keeps in its own storage on your device; copies in your backups remain until you delete those. If you've bought something, a random purchase identifier that the app keeps in the iOS Keychain can stay on the device after the app is deleted, so your purchases can be matched again; it doesn't identify you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have the right to know what information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, and to object to how it’s used. Because Wickwoven keeps your information on your device, you can see, change and delete it in the app. To make a request or a complaint, email support@marketgence.com. You can also contact your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Wickwoven handles information, we’ll update this page and its effective date, and list the change below.
- : First version of this policy, published on apps.marketgence.com. Until now Wickwoven had no policy of its own: its purchase settings pointed to Apple's general privacy policy as a placeholder, and the in-app "Your data" page described its practices. This policy replaces that placeholder and matches the in-app statement.
